Artist Statement:
Suzzette Solano spent hours painting and sketching the world she saw as a small child. Spanish Master Luis Heredia taught her classical fine art at the age of eight. Ever since her paintings and art have been commissioned, sold and donated to private collectors, educational institutions and corporations. Currently she lives in Florida where she has increased her passion for painting to a new level. She obtained a bachelor in engineering at Cornell University and a master in the same discipline at the University of Rochester. After 13 years, with a vast experience in engineering management and several patents attesting to her technical acumen her creative genius unleashed a deep desire to go back to her roots in painting and dedicate herself to developing art on a full time basis. Though her art training and self-discipline emphasizes a range of works and mediums her niche is oil paintings. She indulges in painting abstract, thematic and realist subjects. All these reveal a variable in her whole.
