Artist Statement:
Hello, equine art and sporting art enthusiasts. My drawings were always of horses. When I was very small, my grandfather, Johnny Rebar, used to take me to ride the ponies at the Woodland Park Zoo, in beautiful Seattle, every Saturday. He later puchased my first saddle after I'd bought an Anglo-Arabian gelding with my babysitting money. I boarded him out in Woodinville, just 20 minutes from our house.
All these years later, I am still "horse crazy". Now, I am joined in this love by my husband, Phil, and our four daughters. Each one of our girls loves horses, and they treasure their wonderful memories of growing up with horses.
My current artistic emphasis is capturing your beloved horse or dog through inspired portraiture. Combining your chosen photographs with your heartfelt description, creates a special work of art. Commissions for digital equine or pet portraits, and artistic portrait paintings from your photographs are welcomed. Affordable Limited Edition Giclee prints of new artworks or your portait commissions are also available.
Turn around time is about one week. I enjoy creating special portraits and remembrances of your four legged family members.
Find me on FaceBook - I am there quite often.
