Artist Statement:
Hello, equine and sporting art
enthusiasts. Thank you for
your interest in my artwork.
When I was small, my
grandfather, Johnny Rebar,
would take me to ride the
ponies at the Seattle Woodland
Park Zoo every Saturday.
Grandpa had been a rodeo
cowboy during the depression,
and passed his love of horses
onto me by sharing stories of
his brief pre-war rodeo days.
I enjoy capturing your beloved
horse or dog through inspired
portraiture and creating
paintings and sculptures you
will treasure for a lifetime.
Commissions for digital equine
or pet portraits, and artistic
portrait paintings from your
photographs are welcomed.
Affordable Limited Edition
Giclee prints of new artworks
or your portait commissions
are also available.
Custom portrait turn around
time is about two weeks. I
enjoy creating special
portraits and remembrances of
your family pets.
Today, I am still Grandpa's
"horse crazy" girl. I am
joined in this love by my
husband, Phil, and our four
daughters. Each of our girls
loves horses, and they
treasure many wonderful
memories of growing up with
Arabian horses.
