Paintings: Premium Museum Canvas, purest pigments mixed with high quality oils.

Style:

Modern day surrealism explores alternate realities & subconscious ideas. Many factors come into play, like dreams, individual perceptions, and modern urban life. The viewer should look at the work and find their own perception of what they see. Like a rorschag test, everyone's unique vision sees something different based on their life experiences and their observation of the art. The idea is to capture a really deep moment in time and portray it in a way that can be looked at over and over again to let the viewer find new interpretations of the moment. Images are increased in contrast and brightness to create bright, saturated colors and reinforce the idea of an alternate reality. Real but not real.

Canvases are 1.5 inches in depth, all four borders of each canvas are not painted or covered with any material, canvas blank.
Clients can choose to customize the borders with any colors they wish at no extra charge (oil colors) or can also refinish in details with these materials offered:

Salmon Skin (treated and gloss varnished)
Glossy Sand Touch (fine sand and pigments)
Mother of Pearl (Australian Veneers)

These materials stated above are natural and pure, bringing the originality and beuty of each work of art signed by Massimiliano Stanco.
