Artist Statement:
In my visual art practice I work primarily with found materials, often in combination with multimedia and electronics, to create objects and installation with social and political commentary. I also work in the realm of experimental music, producing ambience, noise, and non-idiomatic improvisation. As a candidate for President of the United States in the 1996, 2000, and 2004 elections, my campaigns have been forwarded through musical performance and internet exposure. I received the King Baudoin Foundation US (KBFUS) Fellowship award for 2003-2004.
I attempt to address issues that influence society in the 21st century. Urban disintegration and reintegration, figure strongly in my approach.
