| Welcome to Stephen Warde Anderson's Portfolio. Browse Anderson's body of work: I am a self-taught artist and have always developed my own methods and techniques which have evolved from a pointillist style with dried tempera paint mixed with saliva applied with plastic styluses and sewing needles to a more conventional, but still unique style using acrylic paint with oil painting techniques and Prismacolor overworkings, which characterizes my current work. I am a self-taught person as well, dropping out of the University of Chicago after one year to spend four years with the U.S. Navy on a frigate home-ported in Athens, Greece.
