Artist Statement:
Most of my life I have been traveling and moving from one country to another. This in itself has allowed me to see and paint many great places and many differents people as well as their stories on the way.
Conversations around the table or over a glass of wine help to create the paintings shown here.
What you cannot see is the history behind each painting and the people involved in them. Only I and sometimes the persons in each painting know why?
We only have our memories and with the use of colour, and the saturation of colour I hope to create a surface tension that moves people to a place of being or a time of remembering.
