Artist Statement:
Swipple is an online gallery
that exhibits original
artwork, photography, and
other stuff that comes up. Our
curatorial direction reflects
the wide ranging though
perhaps somewhat idiosyncratic
aesthetic tastes of our
founder, artist and casual
person Hank Swipple.
Artists are invited to submit
work for exhibition, as well
as links to their works or
projects available on the web.
The Swipple Shop sells
selected merchandise because
we enjoy the occasional trip
down to the post office. Also,
the section in the shop called
"Artist Direct" has links to
artists that have some stuff
for sale on the web. (An
artist's appearance on Swipple
does not require or indicate
any commercial affiliation or
endorsement of said activities
such as t-shirt hocking.) We
also ask that you please
respect that the copyrights
for all images are the
property of the artists, and
that you use or reproduce them
only with expressed written
consent. Artists appearing on
Swipple may be contacted
through this website, in case
you've lost their number.
