Artist Statement for Edward Stone

I humbly submit myself as artist, I believe there is a point in my work when 'Art' will occur and I struggle with my personality and ability to facilitate to that point. I struggle with art, even still Art can emerge from somewhere that's beyond what my abilities are. The way I produce ceramic work may seem mundane,with all the repeditive motions, and the technical skill, but real Art does materialize through the restraints of my materials.
If it is true that there were 5 seconds to reach the reader of my statement; I'd say that my works are Original works, each one is inspired individually. I'm devoted and commited to sharing knowlege and my experiences in the group setting, and want to be in keeping with the highest art aesthetic, and art philosophy.
From the results I have seen delivered from a kiln of my own design and construction I can't think of any other thing that can better give a breath of life to my ceramic peices.
I'm striving to develop in ceramic technique and being transparent in what I have to offer to others. I consciously desire to help promote viability and audience enjoyment. I strive to make work simple, and include a streak of frivolity, and have fun doing it.
I'm prepared to produce many peices within the span of two weeks time, for a show of my work and philosophy as single or in a group.
