Artist Statement:
A stone sculptor primarily.
Design tools: pen & pencil,
carved maquettes, computer &
video. Direct carved stone
sculpture carved using ancient
methods of hammers and chisels
combined with modern
technology of angle grinders,
cut saws and chain saw for
stone. I stand in a long line
of artists, although the only
sculptor in recent centuries.
Creating in stone sometimes
places my brain more in touch
with numerous sculptors from
the past than the people who
share the planet today. Site
