My art spans many media,
styles, and disciplines. In
short, I love to create.
Create, to me, is rearranging
what is already here into
something different. If one is
lucky, someone else will like
it and want to share in its
essence. For some, merely
looking at art is enough, for
others, owning it is the way.
In my younger years I sought
to explain art through
philosophy, rhetoric, and
intellectual mumbo-jumbo.
However, I was never a
formally trained art student,
but studied art through life,
travel, and human interaction.
This is not to say I don’t
have philosophical thoughts on
art, I do. But they are pretty
straight forward and
simplified at this late date.
Anything can be called “art,”
and I have no problem with
this. There are two distinct
areas of art and they are: 1)
what people have put a
monetary value to that ebbs
and flows like...
