My assemblages
contain intense distilled
images, objects, and surfaces
that
create a
confrontation between past and
present. They are
affirmations of
serenity,
recollection and enchantment
as well as wake up calls to
the reality of
our present lives.
I incorporate found objects,
worn man-made tools, animal
bones and natural
science in an attempt to
achieve timelessness in each
construction.

I conduct singular
experiments from fragments and
scraps that make up our
world. Through the
use of natural and man-made
objects I push objects to a
point where they
lose their reference only to
carry on new references.
These
assemblages function
as a type of sealed up
mausoleums which have a way of

shifting ones focus
from the outer world phenomena
into inward reflections
about oneself and
ones place in the outer
world....
