Artist Statement:
The Great Wonders of Nature may be found in some of the smallest creatures such as insects or snails. If your eyes are open for the greatness within the small, maybe you'll discover that your humble backyard actually is a 'cover-up' for numerous fantastic worlds - more peculiar and beautiful than any writer of fairy-tales or science-fiction stories ever would be able to picture!
I like to go hunting with my digital camera - in my garden, parks, the Zoo or other small oases of nature around the city, where I live. Afterwards I work with the photographs on my computer in order to emphasize a certain mood/atmosphere or an idea.
I have tried to describe my source of inspiration in this poem:
On the borderline
of dream and reality
there is a place
where the questions:
why, where from, where to
find their answers
in a breathtaking symphony
of colours and shapes
There in the singing landscape
I wonder and grasp a single note
in the eternal song of life.
Besides my 'Digital Art' I work as a freelance graphic designer....
