| Your Personal Biography |
I describe my work as contemporary with a traditional flair. Many would classify my work as abstract, meaning art that does not attempt to represent the appearance of objects weather real or imaginary. My art encompasses soft pastels intermixed with various textures, board surfaces, and vibrant colors in which I then create a layering effect. Various applications techniques such as blending, making smooth strokes, cross hatch and much more to allow myself to create a design I can build on. When asked what inspires me to be creative I say; 'Being creative in abstract work takes a feeling process and design knowledge. It is important to be free of all expectations and let yourself paint who you are.'
