From the moment I wake up in the morning, to the time when I close my eyes at night, ideas for paintings are constantly flowing in from everywhere. I am drawn to colors and shapes in my every day surroundings and often use these as ideas for my work. Spending great amounts of time in nature allows me to create balance in my life, and this too, influences my pieces. I have frequent dreams about animals and many times these end up in my paintings as well.
