Artist Statement:
Sylvain was born in the French
Islands in the middle of the
pacific ocean, New Caledonia
in 1974, and has been living
now in London UK for the last
10 years. Growing up in a
family of sculptors in south
of France, it’s been obvious
that his passion for and
dedication to the medium of
Photography has it's roots in
this background. After 7 years
training and learning by
assisting top photographers
worldwide, Sylvain is now
concentrating on his own
artwork and commercial
photography check
www.studio1parkroyal.com. He
is currently working on new
fine art projects in locations
around the world from India to
Turquey and Poland. He is
dedicated in his use of a
medium and large format and
predominately all of his work
is traditionally printed in a
wet darkroom . He uses the
digital medium only when the
traditional medium restricts
his create vision.
Sylvain Deleu has been
practising for 15 years He is
especially interested in
abstract nature &
architecture. He constantly
refers back to what he has
undertaken with the aim of
self critism and self
improvement.
He won the Fujifilm Merit
Award 2004 for his research on
London architecture and was
