A visual hunter at heart and possibly the most accurate statement I could make concerning my process of making work. Increasingly, a profusion of imagery from my daily observations, social interactions and intellectual explorations occupy my works focus. My daily journeys only reveal minor visual encounters, which are a part of a more complex and significant whole. Throughout my process of questioning my sense of place and being I find myself deconstructing, restructuring and combining these found pieces to construct modified views and experiences relevant to our current visual landscape. My interest is in both the ordinary and not so ordinary visual signs that question purpose and meaning when combined through less familiar amalgamations and surroundings. The results of my efforts serve up spatial consumptions calling attention to the conflict of visual information and the un-resting points, which in turn function as visual allegories for where we are today....
