Artist Statement for Thomas Roethlisberger

|
Art is for me a personal interpretation of objectives, landscape, emotions... and it is an important part of my life. Expressed emotions, intimade moments of thinking expressed in a equal intimate and quite picture. You might participate and life your own moments with it. Sometimes I just enjoy one single color combination on a picture, a small objective, painted in a moment of emotions, forgetting the whole but inducted to a "total". Good examples are the skylines. You will find small and very beautiful details. I mainly use oils and work with palette knives, brushes, sponges, fingers or napkins. I create my own frames to escape the standard formats, as I like to escape from every standard or routines in life.
