Artist Statement:
Cassandra Fink, Multi-Media Artist. The artist explores a continuous theme through the diversity of poetry, music, spoken word and the visual arts. Features her three poetry music cd's, a humorous cat book, and fine art galleries featuring not only the vivid rich hues of her paintings, but gorgeous wearable sculpture in precious metals and gemstones.
About the Artist: With a background in dance and the performing arts, as well as in the visual arts, Cassandra has produced a number of multi-media shows over the last 18 years in the Dallas area. A former member of the Japanese taiko drum group Kobushi, and three other dance and drumming groups in the 1990's, she is a long-time member of the Dallas Poets Community. She grew up in a family of artisans and enjoys working in a variety of media. Her art work has been displayed at galleries throughout the Southwestern United States.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
“I like to use many ways to express a single concept, whether it be in two dimensional, three dimensional, auditory or visual art. This allows me to portray a message to a wider audience.
