Artist Statement for Tari Oakes
|
|
|
Photography is in my history as well as my heart. I have made photos as
long as I can remember. I have a background in photogaphy studying in Belgium and being able to grasp photography as an art form. I have studied in college as well, but my greatest knowledge has come from just being out there taking pictures. I love to create and for me film is the canvas and nature provides the paint. I believe that creativity and technical skill can be powerful behind the lens. I have learned most of my lighting techniques and tech skills from other professionals and my gratitiude is undying. Photography is capturing lifes moments and preserving them, it is a part of me and many others who share this passion..
