Chinese ink painting master Shi Tao’s fa zi hua sheng has been a guiding principle in my practice, which encourages me to experiment and follow my intuition in the creative process. Through practice that assimilates my understanding of and feelings about the world around me, I seek to acquire modes that are most appropriate for myself, and not to be constrained by established methods.
