Artist Statement for Michel Leah Keck Borsits

I don't like to be labelled or asked to categorize my work. My work is always ever changing. My work has been classified as abstract expressionism art, outsider art, folk art, abstract art, visionary and even pop art! It is what it is.. it changes from day to day. One word however that can always be used to describe my works is RAW. I'm a self-taught artist with no formal training. My works are created though my memories, emotions and instinct. Nobody could have trained me for what it is that I do.. my art is as much a part of me as our my limbs, or my internal organs. Art is a part of me.
