Artist Statement:
Iīm mostly working with paper,
handmade paper, which i do
myself and which i also buy. I
make vessels or bowls and Iīm
interested in making them
different from each other, so
the experience is greater for
both the viewer and for
myself, when i make these
artworks.

I try to make the expression
of the bowls be tactile and
simple, not cool and
minimalistic. I find a lot of
associations to nature in the
bowls and it might be the
surrounding in which I live,
that creeps into the
expression. ...

Your Personal Biography I went to artschool at the age of 18 in my hometown and did mostly painting and drawing.

In a long period I was interested in photography and had my own darkchamber and was a member of a local photogroup called 'objectiv'.

I went to university and studied arthistory for almost 3 years, which was very interesting.

I am educated as a preeschoolteacher (pædagog) and this is what a do: working with children aged 5-6 years old.

Beside my job as a preeschoolteacher i do mostly paperwork, painting and assemblage and pictures, where I cut woodplates.

I visit a lot of artexhibitions in my sparetime.
