Artist Statement:
The images and music I create
are based on a theme of
non-verbal communication,
without the abstraction of
pure thought into words. I
feel that an image or sound
can more adequately represent
the true nature expressed in a
state of being. Words are a
distraction, a reference to
ideological concepts in our
mind of the way the would
should be. By communicating
through sensation, however, a
person can bypass these
predispositions of knowledge
to unerstand on a deeper and
more personal level. I am
trying to express that which
we feel but cannot put into
words. Words are dead, brief
stimulations of recognition
strung together in various
manners to alter context and
meaning. Only by expanding our
view of communication will
allow us to revive the wealth
of emotion we felt as
children, when the world was
new and we were naive....
