Artist Statement:
The inspiration behind my work is the philosophy that creating art is a continual learning process. The process itself is both humbling and satisfying. One should not be afraid to experiment and explore. After all, that is how one discovers new techniques, learns new ways of doing things, and stumbles across a new medium or tool. Something can always be gained with both success and failure. That newfound knowledge can then be applied along with that previously gained to spur further growth, improvement, and evolution.
