Artist Statement:
Light on form is my inspiration and is manifested in my work bilaterally as a figurative and landscape/seascape painter. My passion for light is explored further by examining the theory that simplicity in an image has a complex impact on the viewer. By focusing strongly on light and using ...

A high point in my career was my participation in the Fourth Edition of the Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea in Florence Italy in December 2003. Participation in this event was by invitation only and artists were chosen solely on merit by an International Committee of renowned critics. The Biennale was a wonderful opportunity to interact with international artists, each at varying stages of their careers, and to witness a synopsis of the development of art worldwide. I have since been invited by the Comte de Boisdauphin, Dr Louis-Marc Servien to exhibit in Europ'ART 2006 to be held in Geneva Switzerland under his company's banner Who's Who International SA. Dr Servien saw my work in Florence.
