Toni Milaqi
(contemporary artist ;
albania, greece)
When you want to fly, but you
have no wings; when you want
to give a great punch in the
stomach of the authority, and
you can't; when you want to
change the world, but the only
thing you do is to observe how
prosaically utopian is this;
when the coldly nights of
winter, in a deep blue sky,
you want to pee the Moon, and
all you finally succeed is to
make your self wet; when the
dross of the socials and
moralities have surrounded
you:
“The only thing you can do is
to desire to swallow the sun,
and to try, even if this seems
unthinkable, to register the
billions of its colors. This
titanic act, which goes many
times over the limits; which
eats and burns the dust of
prosaism, and fill your life
with a great energy and lust
for the exploring of this
world, and uncountable
combinations of colors, is
that which can escape you to a
heavenly world. And is so
beautiful there! ”
I love being a painter, even
that moment, when I feel
how fatal is to meet reality
through this filter. ...

Toni Milaqi
(Contemporary artist, Albania, Greece)
29 May 1974 -He was born in Tirana (Albania) from greek parents.
Studies:
1988-1992 -After being competed, he completed his studies in drawing and painting and specialized in the Engraving Section at the Artistic School "Jordan Misja", (Tirana, Albania).
1992 -Among competents he ranks second and earns the right (after examinations) for the entering in the "Academy of Fine Arts" of Albania (Monumental Painting Section).
