“To reflect one’s self is an
intuitive impulse. I try to
catch the spirit of a time, a
place, or state of mind. Some
days, I do not know where
these images come from. The
process itself is a journey,
but as they evolve on the
canvas, so do I. I love every
moment and element of the
process.”
ABOUT THE ARTIST...TORI
"Tori" is a creative alter-ego
of Victoria Moore. Born in
California in 1956, Victoria
became a well respected
technical illustrator in the
San Francisco Bay Area, who’s
client list reads like a who’s
who of the Silicon Valley
giants of the 70’ & 80’s. Her
initial body of work was
boldly graphic and gained her
recognition from
coast-to-coast for it’s strong
line work, sensual imagery and
her ability to catch a
fleeting moment.
Tori relocated to Florida to
redefine herself, away from
the fast-paced high-tech
environment and focus on the
nuances of mixing various
mediums. The result of those
studies is evident in the
unique depth of texture,
richness of colour and control
over the mediums where her
technical skills are evident
in every aspect of the work...
