Artist Statement:
Born in Shrewsbury, England
and moving to Canada at the
age of three, I was born into
a very artistic family and
have had a brush in my hand
since a young child.
I have won several awards for
my work incl. an Ontario Arts
Council Grant and began
developing this style after
becoming bored with realism. I
feel my style is progressing
still and feel there are no
limits on what can be
achieved.
I only started exhibiting
several years ago and have had
an excellent response from
other artists & people
involved in the arts.
Presently the owner of Root
Studio in which I do graphic
design and illustration, I am
able to often incorporate my
paintings and drawings into
various designs.
Commissions and portraits are
always available and I am able
to do all subject matter;
specializing in figurative and
animal paintings.
I would love to hear from
others their opinion/critique
of my work.
