Artist Statement:
My paintings are a
narrative of longing and
desire through decay; each
layer peeling, sliding or
breaking away through time and
by weather revealing what came
before and a secret about the
place or object exposed. This
process is both allegory and
inspiration for my work. If I
were an object what would that
be? What secrets would be
revealed after time had it’s
way with me; and finally what
would be discovered about my
maker?...
