| Your Personal Biography |
Hi, my name is Troy Francois Carney and I was raised by the ocean in the pictorial community of New Zealands Bay Of Plenty. My artwork is inspired by several strong influences. Beginning with my mother, a classically trained, fine artist, and continuing with some extensive travel throughout Asia and the South Pacific as a teenager. I attended high school on Kauai, Hawaii, where I deepened my appreciation for the interconnections of all Polynesian cultures. I returned to Kauai in 1992. There I transferred the airbrushing talents that I had refined in Australia�s Gold Coast to Hawaii�s water sport trade. My custom airbrushing was first self taught at my father�s surfboard manufacturing company. I now reside on Kauai , deep in Kahuna Valley and hand paint in oils and I hope that my work brings resonance to the interior of peoples homes around the world.
