Artist Statement:
"Art is Life and Life is
Art..."
Tamara has painted and drawn
all of her life and has won
numerous awards since she was
8 years old. Her formal art
training began at Glendale
Community College in Arizona,
where she learned drawing,
composition and painting
before transferring to Arizona
State University, where she
earned a BFA Degree. During
this time she also studied
portrait painting with Muller
Lux.
She later continued her
passion for learning at the
NYC Art Students League and
Nat’l Academy Of Art & Design,
where she studied under some
of America’s top Portrait &
Landscape Painters. Since
1986, she has created numerous
paintings, pencil drawings and
84 murals that are in
distinguished collections
world-wide.
In addition to painting,
Tamara has worked as an Art
Consultant and Gallery
Owner/Director in Scottsdale,
Arizona.
Today she resides in Port
Richey, Florida where she
specializes in creating
exterior and interior Tropical
Landscapes, Marine Life and
figurative paintings and
murals.
