Artist Statement:
Creating art work has been my life's pursuit.
Staring from as far back as I can remember.
Art at home, painting bottles, drawing my sisters.
Taking as many art classes as possible.
Becoming a 'Hawk eye' in vision and hand eye coordination.
Destroying works that didn't meet my own criteria.
Ever lasting pursuit of the colors that express the words. Kandinsky, Degas, Gaugan, Monet, Manet, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. This not counting the numerous others that have influenced me in one way or another until today.
Currently working with re-cycled graphic art drawers, old clothes, and lace, which are now all but obsolete. Three pieces: "The Phoenix Rising from the Sun", "The Wedding", and "The Annunciation of the Eminent Outcome".
I WISH TO THANK ALL OF THE FOLKS AT ABSOLUTE ARTS.COM FOR POSTING MY ARTWORK IN MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT!!! I HAVE A DISABILITY AND HOPE TO BE ABLE TO 'UPGRADE' MY ACCOUNT WITH YOU. GOD BLESS, ONDINA E. SOLER...
