Artist Statement for Anita Wolf

|
It's only natural, that on first sight, the superficial draws more attention than the profound. But does that make the one mightier than the other? I have many questions, but I don't want to stick with temporary solutions. It can't be my aim to settle with one definite judgment either. I rather feel like an observer. I think, as human beings we are living in a world in between the superficial and the profound, and we are not able to live and still function in a way, that would enable us to balance.
I don't really know what kind of "artist" I am. Sometimes, I doubt I am one at all. I used to think I want to make "people" see,- maybe change the world a little. But I guess now, all I am hoping for is, to wake up in the morning, and still feel, that there's something worth living for. Yes, I suppose you could say that for me it's not all about "the art", it's about "living and being".
