| Why Did You Become An Artist |
First and foremost, I am a Catholic Consecrated Religious, a Sister. I learned early-on that God gives talent and expects us to use it. I think art is a ministry. I decided not to be left behind when computers came of age. I am now happily designing on the computer. However, I have several oil paintings I have not sold yet. I use art in my religious ministry. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I began sketching at the age of four on the margins of my mother's cookbooks. My creativity was encouraged by my teachers in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. I was self-taught until I attended what is now Otis-Parsons in Los Angeles where I earned a BFA in painting in 1975. Later on, I started the International Registry for Religious Wo/men Artists which thrived for twenty years. I earned my MA in Art at CSU Fresno in California and began showing my work around the country in places such as New York, Dallas, Albuquerque, Chicago, St. Louis. I have also been involved in teaching art on the university and college level but am now creating art part time and doing religious ministry in www.tlig.org. True Life in God. |
