Artist Statement:
"Imagination reveals itself in the balance of opposites: the general with the concrete, the idea with the image, the sense of novelty and freshness with the old and familiar, enthusiasm and feeling with steady self-possession." Coleridge
I couldn't have said it better....

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
It was in my blood. Even as a child I had to draw. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Born in a military hospital on the east coast. Moved to Germany when I was preschool age and lived there for three years, then moved to France where we stayed 5 years and then back to Germany until I left home and moved to Colorado to attend the Colorado Institute of Art. I have lived in Denver, CO ever since, but still travel back to Europe as often as time and money allows. I took time to raise my 2 children and used less toxic mediums until my children were in grade school. I then switched to oils and have stayed with oils as my main mode of expression. I continue to learn and explore and grow as an artist. |
