Artist Statement:
Walton’s energetic works result from a combination of a variety of mediums and styles using acrylic, collage, papier maché, and frequently recycled objects. Her work, which develops by series, ranges from representational to abstraction and 3-dinensional format.

ITALIAN TOTEMS: The colours of Venice are stacked like buildings, through the recycling of painting palettes. This assemblage project represents the ‘behind the scenes’ process of the artist ‘in studio’.Influenced by a voyage to Venice Italy, this series of painting palette assemblages represents both the rich colours of the city and the ‘behind the scenes’ process of the artist ‘in studio’.
