Artist Statement:
What is the 'shape' of water?
And how is the 'style of an
artist' to be defined if it be
fluid? My beginnings in art
were with line and aquamedia.
Both encompass the notion of
'flow'. More recently, I have
extended the literal aspects
of flow (inherent within
watercolor) to more conceptual
apsects of visual composition.
I interact with the emerging
image: it affects me and I
affect it. This consciousness
has led me naturally to
explore new dynamic media such
as animated imagery and
multimedia, and how a new
language of visual forms and
events may be developed which
embraces this idea of flow and
of fluid (logical) connection.
Nothing is 'cut-off' in the
Universe, everything is
