Harry is a Figurative, Landscape and Erotic Artist, in the tradition of Austrian Artists, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele and French Artist , Edgar Degas. Harry lives in the Berkeley ,California
Harry is originally from New York. Harry started out as a fashion artist like fashion artist, Andy Warhol and evolved into a fine artist , painter and sculptor. He graduated from Parsons School of Design, New York. Harry worked as a fashion artist in New York and San Francisco.
Harry obtained his Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from the California College of the Arts, Oakland, and San Francisco, California.
Harry has taught painting, drawing at the University of Connecticut. Sculpture,at Westfield State College, Westfield, Massachusetts and the De Young Museum of Fine Arts, San Francisco, California.
HARRY WEISBURD IS AN ARTIST THAT WORKS IN MANY MEDIUMS, INCLUDING SCULPTURE, PAINTING AND DRAWING. He studied sculpture with Frank
Eliscu, Sculptor and Designer of FOOTBALL'S HEISMAN TROPHY.
Harry besides being a sculptor is also a LANDSCAPE PAINTER. His GAIA
-YIN/YANG landscape paintings are based on the CHINESE PHILOSOPHY
OF YIN/YANG-MASCULINE/FEMININE.
Harry's Erotic Art has been influenced by the drawings and paintings of Klimt, Egon Schiele. Rodin, Toulouse-Lautrec , German-American Artist, Richard Lindner who painted the Hookers and Pimps of New York City; by Master Graphic Artist and Lithograher of Germany, Paul Wunderlicht,and England's Allen Jones and America's Tom Wesselman's Great American Nude Series.
