Artist Statement:
I am a digital artist. After working traditionally for 20 years, I began using the computer to create art. My favorite tools are Photoshop and Bryce.
My goal is to emphasize the spiritual essence of color, form and interaction by focusing on the process of creation. I have named them "handwerks" and "renderings" - the former being basically gestural stuff, the latter created with the aid of a number of 3-d packages.
I pursue chaos patterns with process, choosing emergent elements to form a visual hierarchy that sometimes elicits meaning. Sometimes it just brings up stuff. Either way, I enjoy it and I hope others viewing my work will feel free to engage in an inner dialogue with the works, so to arrive at a personal destination....
