Artist Statement for Rosa Alba Gambicchia

|
Rosa Alba Gambicchia is an artist who lives in Italy.
She signes and guarantees her hand-painted works by her own trademark "W-MARE".
She paints landscapes, floral, portraits of sails, ships and people following two main guide-lines:
the use of glass, crystal, ceramic as a support for paintings on rare "opaline" crystal, glass windows and doors, bottles and bowls, demijohns, and all sort of panels, lampshade bases;
the use of classical media: watercolors, acrylics, oil for paintings on cloth, canvas, paper and wood.
She has participated in various group exhibitions and one-man shows. Paintings and works are part of collections in Italian Associations and private collections (Milano, Monfalcone, Monte Argentario in Tuscany, Padua, Sicily, Verona, etc.).
