Artist Statement:
I was born in North Dakota and eventually migrated to California. I earned my BFA at California College of Arts and Crafts in Advertising Art in 1959 and an MFA in 1961 in Printmaking. With the exception of teaching printmaking at Hayward State University, most of my career was spent in the field of advertising working as an art director.

I am very critical of my work and working with a computer to generate art provides me with the ability to go back to an earlier stage in the development and make changes. My work can't just humm, it has to sing before I call it finished....
