Furniture or works of art?
His work is located in museums, in galleries, in public buildings and naturally at home with lovers. The avant-garde furniture of Dieter Zimmermann is meant.
Actually the name avant-garde for his furniture, pointing into the future, is not so whole fitting. On the check garbage, scrap iron workstation or found articles, which he assembles to new pieces of furniture, all objects elsewhere are with past, to which one frequently also regards its age.
