Artist Statement:
There is a certain joy and
even sadness to finishing a
project. "Marianne"
(1921-2005) my Grandmother, is
my 1st Acrylic. For an
onlooker it might seem she
flowed quite easily onto the
page. Inside I was in knots.
The encouragement and praise
coming over my shoulder gave
me much motivation, and my
loving husband will always be
credited for urging me forward
and allowing my dreams to come
true. The desire to see it
finished, really kept me at
it, even so every first stroke
of new color filled me with
adrenaline and anxiety
besides. I look forward to
learning something new
everyday! ...
