Artist Statement:
I just love painting. I just love the feelings it gives me. I think that is the main reason that every painter continues to paint. Painting is where I can return to myself and I truly enjoy unexpected mixture of colors and images created on a canvas. I really don't think I need to explain my paintings with words. If I don't have to, I don't want to. That is my honest feelings. Every painting from every painter has its own story or message there and people feel it by just looking at it. I think that is the magic that arts can create. To me, that always seems something beyond logic or intellect. And that is probably what attracts me the most about arts, too. I would rather want to think my art is not about technique or skill or style. I just want to create what my heart wants me to. I see myself as a person who is still on the journey trying to find the true self. It will probably continue as long as I live, or forever. Painting definitely helps me reassure who I want to become and where I want to...
