First studied oil painting with the German Expressionist Schwaderer. Three decades ago became the star student of the most honored painter of the most aesthetic nation on earth—Hisashi Ohta, a Living National Treasure of Japan.
1981 Ohta makes Zaremba sensei, gives him all his Japanese students. Zaremba teaches for eighteen years at the Japanese Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
Since 2000 in Boston.
Considered the greatest Sumi-e Master in America and Europe.
