Evelyn Peters's Premiere Artist Portfolio
Welcome to Evelyn Peters's Portfolio.
Continuing to paint even though she has reached her eighth decade, Evelyn feels that she continues to learn and improve her work. Proof of this is the constant sales and requests for commissions. She continues to mentor and promote other artists as well and is active on the Board of the International Society of Acrylic Painters. Her travels to other countries have given her chances at ambassadorship and thus in 2003 she was awarded an International Peace Prize by the United Cultural Convention of the United States for her work in Arts and Communications among cultural diversities worldwide.
Evelyn is a native of Alaska, has been a professional artist since 1974 and an official Coast Guard artist since 1987. She currently favors acrylic and watercolor but has worked and taught in all media. Over 1000 originals are in corporate, museum, private and public collections worldwide. Honors and awards are many in both art and public service. She is a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP), the National Association of Acrylic Painters US/UK(NAPA), a past member of the Salmagundi Club, NYC, and is listed in Who's Who is American Art, Who's Who in ... |
