Artwork Description:   Barrel Cactus-Man, was the second in the Cactus-Man series that points to the bond that humans share with the Sonoran Desert. The barrel cactus is a shorter, rounder, cactus then the stately taller Saguaro cactus. The sculpture shows a man morphing into a barrel cactus (or a barrel cactus morphing into a man) blurring the line between man and nature and reminding us of the beauty of the world around us.�The patina, or coloration, is a rich cupric nitrate that imitates green tones of the cacti found in the Sonoran Desert.
