Cactus-Man, originally designed as a submission to a Parks department call for public art here in Tucson, AZ, points to the bond that humans share with the Sonoran Desert. The sculpture shows a man morphing into a cactus (or a cactus morphing into a man) blurring the line between man and nature-- and reminding us of the beauty of the world around us.�The patina, or coloration, is a rich cupric nitrate that imitates green tones of the cacti found in the Sonoran Desert. There are also two other versions of Cactus-Man available: small(6 tall) and large(46 tall)
