Artwork Description:

Sculptor Dan Woodard's "Silence" depicts a man whose mouth is bandaged shut evoking the silencing of his persona. A mold was made from the original ceramic sculpture and cast in Ultracal then covered with a bronze metal coating which received two coats of patina and finally three coats of wax. The sculpture is also available in bronze.
